Thompson & Thomson - Two bungling detective who invoke
Two police officers are twin brothers, but only described the different forms of his mustache only. Both these figures are described by Herge as police that very careless and stupid, so often become a problem instead of solve the problem. Besides that the two figures is portrayed often repeat the words of the sentence of each other only behind-the back and just like to said the word "more precisely" (to be precise .....).
With their ignorance, the album of Tintin's Adventure become a full laughter by see their behavior that is described so clearly by Herge as two idiot policeman. Herge depicts these two figures with a black dress coat, hat Bowler and equipped with a stick.
Similar but not identical and the differences located only on the forms of his mustache where Thompson has a form of a straight mustache while Thomson warped out more. Thomson & Thompson character is taken by Herge's father and his own uncle that is also the identical twin brother, and always wearing a hat Bowler. In the French version of Tintin comics these two figures is called Dupont et Dupond.
